One of our favourite tag-lines from a few years back was "Designed for joggers not runners". Those were the days of trainers on T-Shirts.
Our focus with this design is on the sole of a shoe specifically designed for jogging.
The waffle was the first invention for Nike by Bill Bowerman who hit on the idea after pouring liquid urethane into his wife's waffle iron. In 1974 this thought evolved into the Waffle Trainer, which went on to sell over 100000 each month during the 70s fitness craze. The shoe became a Casual favourite once Nike was first imported into the U.K. in 1979.
The T-Shirt is a part of our Easter run of designs. These will be in stores at the beginning of April.
