In January of 2010 we recommended The Sand Band as a group to keep an eye on for the year. After a year of steady gigs including an 80s Casuals night, the group are at last about to release their long awaited debut album. "All Through The Night" comes out on Monday January 17 on the Deltasonic label. Achieving 4/5 stars in this months Mojo magazine the album has an extra limited edition CD containing 6 tracks if purchased early. We also hear that lead singer David McDonnell has been asked to join Noel Gallaghers band for a forthcoming World Tour this Summer. Davids guitar skills have been used previously by Richard Ashcroft, so it looks like its going to be a busy year.
